Calling All Air Supply Fans.
In response to the overwhelming support for Air Supply in my hub, Top 10 Songs You Hate Yourself for Loving, it struck me that there are many closeted Air Supply fans out there that simply need an outlet to make their love of Air Supply known to the world.

The music is instantly recognizable. I would be willing to bet that every person in the English speaking world can name at least one Air Supply song, whether they know it's an Air Supply song or not. Moreover, I would bet that everyone at one point or another knew the lyrics to at least one Air Supply tune.

A Brief History.
In 1980, Air Supply released "Lost in Love" in the US and it became the fastest-selling single in the world up to that point. "Lost in Love" was named song of the year for 1980. Their second single, "All Out of Love," was even bigger. Air Supply had a run of seven top five singles which equaled the number posted by the Beatles.
Over 20 million album sales later, here we are, for some reason embarrassed to own one of them. I say, "No more!"

We want to convert them Bonnie, not scare them away. But, 24 hours of Air Supply may just do it, there's no telling how many hours we listened to.
Ok, I'll admit to liking one or two of their songs. Now what do you have for closet Barry Manilow fans? Not that I'm one of them, mind you.
Sorry, rmr. I can't really help you there. I will encourage you to start your own similar support group if you think there is the same need.

Emasculating? Only if one is emasculatable. I'm comfortable enough in my own sexuality not to let something like that bother me. :)
Khartley has love for the air supply music but has problems managing his own emotions, hence the "emasculating" and the punch in the face. Practically all of Air Supply songs dominates the heart of Jamaica (I am Jamaican), even the young generation coming up (to my surprise. Young ones don't usually go for music older than they are.

i love Air Supply!!! every time I hear their songs or watch the dvd of their concerts, i just can't help but go crazy! the band has been my inspiration, and I'm very proud to be an Air Head! I'm actually 14 and my friends wonder why i really like Air Supply. Well, all I can say is that they're very great, such exceptional performers and they're really passionate about what they're doing. (to tell you honestly, I've never seen them in person yet, but I do hope that I'll meet them soon)I won't be surprised if the latter has fans even younger than me. I first heard Air Supply back in 1980 when i was 10 years old and saw them perform on Solid Gold. Since then i have been a fan and did not know that Airheads exists.I saw them perform twice in Trinidad where i am originally from.
They are just relaxing to listen to and their music is timeless.
